They've been dating for three months, but something's off.
Itoshi Sae isn't one to talk about his feelings. Shidou Ryusei isn't one to hold back. Somewhere between missed calls and quiet dinners, the tension builds-sharp, cutting, and unspoken. Shidou can't take it anymore. He asks the one question he never thought he'd need to.
What follows is a slow, aching unraveling of two people who care too much and say too little-until the silence finally shatters.
A raw and emotional journey through miscommunication, longing, and the terrifying vulnerability of actually wanting to stay.

📝 Author's Note:
This book was inspired in part by Komi Can't Communicate - specifically Volume 31, Chapter 406, written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda. One particular moment in that chapter moved me deeply, and while I didn't copy it directly, I reimagined it in this story with my own voice and characters. Thank you to that chapter for breaking my heart just enough to write this.
