Once Upon a Time... There was an enchanted forest filled with all the classic characters we know. Or think we know. That's the world Haisley Nell Singer is from. Just her name in that world was Rapunzel and this is her story. Despite who her parents are in that world she was born with purest powers ever known. Healing. Not that her magic work in our world. She was born with the purest blonde hair you have ever seen. None of the kingdoms knew she existed. Her grandfather took care of her. He wanted her to be better than those before her. He wanted her safe from harm. He knew what was coming. He knew the curse was coming that the Evil Queen had threatened all the happy endings. He was terrified of what would happen so he prayed. He went to the Blue fairy and begged for her to be taken and sent somewhere safe. Somewhere far from this land if she could find a way. He knew Blue was the only hope for the little girl to have a happy ending. Snow and Charming took her in and raised her as her own... but when the curse came they had to send her with their twins to the real world. That's how Bobby Singer found her and adopted her to raise her as his own. She grew up knowing all about what was really out there and how to fight it. She grew up around the best hunters and their families if they had one. Her best friend was Sam Winchester growing up! This is her story...

The story takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, in which the residents are actually characters from various fairy tales and other stories that were transported to the "real world" town and robbed of their original memories by the Evil Queen Regina, using a powerful curse obtained from Rumplestiltskin. The residents of Storybrooke, where Regina is mayor, have lived an unchanging existence for 28 years, unaware of their own lack of aging. The town's only hope lies with a bail bondsman and bounty hunter named Emma Swan, the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, who was transported from the Enchanted Forest to our world as an infant before she could be cursed. As such, she is the only person who can break the curse and restore the characters' lost memories. She is aided by her son, Henry, with whom she has recently reunited after giving him up for adoption upon his birth, and his book of fairy tales that holds the key to ending the curse. Henry is also the adopted son of Regina, providing a source of both conflict and common interest between the two women. Despite Emma having broken the curse, the characters are not returned to the fairy tale world, and must deal with their own dual identities. Henry Mills is living in the middle of all this mess with his one and only friend Grace Williams, the daughter of the mad hatter and evil witch Zelena. They have been best friends from the start with the odd and strange coincidence of being born on the same day at practically the same time. This budding romance filled with magic, evil, and adventure is one not to be missed.

The heroes must team up with villains to rescue a kidnapped boy. Two lovers rekindle the flame one tried so hard to ignore in the midst of trouble. Between one wily boy, who is more than he seems, a witch from somewhere over the rainbow, and a group of villainesses, the residents of Storybrooke are in no way short of the need to save their land time and time again.
