The year is 2182, and on the edge of Human controlled space, a precious cargo was stolen by a Batarian Slave team. The unknown cargo had been taken deeper into Batarian space and was thought to contain a weapon. Upon opening the container, the Batarians were left with more questions than answers. In 2179, an artifact was discovered in a remote star cluster in the Terminus systems. An artifact gathered the attention of several governments and shadowy organizations, placing huge bounties on its retrieval. The hunt for this artifact would become the dream of many Mercs, whether those in large bands or individuals looking for the wealth and prestige it would bring in. It is now 2183 and these organizations have become desperate. The body count has grown, and with it, the confusion surrounding the information on who is in possession. As for some unlucky souls, their journey for the artifact wasn't necessarily something they wanted to be involved in. But fate, as they say, had other plans.
