A Hyrule holiday brought back from being lost to the ages. The entire castle is decorated in oranges and blacks with cats and keese creeping in the night. Everyone is clad in visages of monsters and ghouls, creatures of legend meant to frighten away evil spirits. It is also a time for candy and jubilant celebration, especially for the children of Hyrule. For the champions, they face a new task. One that will test every facet of their skills... While training to defeat Calamity Ganon, Link builds relationships with the four champions... especially Revali. Link and Revali get really close, and start to feel a connection towards each other. But once the final battle comes into play, they're separated forever. Warning: inappropriate language, graphic violence, and lots of fluff!

Revali hates Link from the moment they see each other, and Link wants to know why. The two of them realize that they like each other, but by the time they are ready to tell each other, something terrible happens. The Calamity has been defeated, Hyrule is safe. It may take a good while but eventually the Kingdom of Hyrule might once return for the first time in a century. Everything is normal, up until something new appeared on the Sheikah Slate. Something that would not only change Link's life but the lives of those who suffered at the hands of the Calamity. Zelda sends Link to investigate what these mysterious new readings mean. His adventure is not over yet... far from it. Inspired by "Romance is in the Air" by @Azadia_the_Rito (please check them out their works are incredible) I've decided to try my hand at making a fanfic with the endgame being my favorite pairing: Link x Revali. I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes. No matter what happens I just want y'all to know that as long as one person smiles, all the work is worth it to me. Hope you enjoy! :)
