The bass from the main floor of the club throbbed like a distant heartbeat, muffled by the heavy door of the private room Jimin had pulled me into. The moment the lock clicked shut, the noise of the outside world faded to almost nothing, leaving only the sound of our breathing and the faint hum of the air conditioning. Dim, amber lighting bathed the space in a warm, intimate glow-plush velvet seating along one wall, a low table with untouched drinks, and mirrors that reflected fragments of us from different angles. But all I could focus on was him. Jimin moved with that effortless grace he always had, like the music lived inside his body even when it was quiet. His hand rested lightly on the small of my back as he guided me backward, step by step, until the cool, smooth surface of the wall pressed against my shoulder blades. The contrast between the chilled wall and the heat rolling off his body made goosebumps rise along my arms. He didn't use restraints or force-just his presence. One of his thighs slid smoothly between mine, parting my legs just enough to anchor me there, while his hands came up to brace on either side of my head, palms flat against the wall. I was effectively caged by him, surrounded by the clean, intoxicating scent of his cologne mixed with a hint of the whiskey he'd sipped earlier.
