Her mother's a journalist and travels around UK for her job, She doesn't get paid much and ever since Matilda turned 16 she was always willing to help her Mother get bye by she picked up small jobs around London. When Matilda's Mother gets a call to go up to Liverpool for a press conference to write about the hit, up and coming band, 5 seconds of summer. As, they will be the openers of One direction's next Where we are tour. Matilda didn't think anything of it and comes along with her Mother to Liverpool, she needed a break from studying and stressing about college, it would be a good get away. But she didn't expect to meet the familiar band 5 seconds of summer. And them surprisely spark quite a liking to her. Especially Calum hood.
