After the band split, Gerard and Frank didn't have a reason to see each other. Two years after the split with no communication, they bump into each other at an art museum and become friends again...only to find that Gerard is moving to New York to become an aspiring comic artist and writer, and Frank is moving to a different part of New Jersey, farther away from NY. They got in a big fight resulting in Gerard taking a trip to the hospital and Frank drained from any and all emotion.
