Years after her daughter was taken from her, an unexpected discovery threatens to unravel the life she has painstakingly built around an unimaginable absence. But finding Ryan is only the beginning. Ryan doesn't remember her mother. Taylor doesn't know the little girl her daughter has become. And while the world might see their reunion as the happy ending to a devastating story, behind closed doors, two virtual strangers must learn how to become a family. There will be difficult questions, sleepless nights, tentative firsts and setbacks neither of them knows how to navigate. Because bringing a little girl home is one thing. Helping her believe she's finally safe is another.
