I loved the whole Skyborn series, so I decided to try writing a sequel to it. All events in this fanfic take place after the end of the last book, Skyborn: Phoenix Rising. If you have not read the series, please do not read my story. Jessica Khoury's series is wonderful, and I don't want anyone getting spoilers. The books were meant for a middle school audience, or ages 13 and up, but some parts actually do get kind of dark, so if you're sensitive to that type of stuff, be warned. My fanmade sequel will be a bit darker. There are way too few Skyborn stories out there, and fellow fans are hard to come by. It makes me sad that people are missing out on such a great world.
