In the year 2148 a army of AI controlled machines called the Legion have at this point controlled most of the world. The surviving countries of the world are barely hanging on by a thread against this seemingly unstoppable threat, and due to this many atrocities have occurred because of it. In the Republic of San Magnolia the people of the country, members of the Alba race have forced members of other races onto the battlefield to fight off the legion and designated them all, Eighty-Six. Thousands of people have died while the Alba live comfy lives inside the walls of the republic. Now the only people left on the battlefield are the children of the Eighty-Six. This story takes place with one of these squadrons of children on the battlefield, Spearhead Squadron. I do not own the story that inspired this. The original author of the light novel belongs to Asato Asato who has written such a great story that I love. This fanfiction takes place in two timelines simultaneously, after the end of part one and part two of the anime. I've read all the novels, so I may use some concepts that appear later on, but most of it is a work of my imagination! This novel will take a similar format to the original, not resigning from the plot and action, with slow-burn romance progressing throughout the story. The original concept took place after Volume 6, but I've changed it during the writing to accommodate anime viewers.
