And Shadow wanted to do anything to win Sonic's heart so him and her girlfriend break up and because he also think she's not a perfect one for him. What will happen? He held the book against his chest as if his life depended on it. He had promised, he wouldn't let go of it. His breath was heavy and ragged, the smoke filling his lungs intrusively. Green eyes snapped everywhere, looking desperately for an exit. He jumped when his back met the thick wall behind him, his eyes landing on the awful smoky creature. Each step it took made a sloppy sound that made the blue hedgehog cringing. Sonic was screwed. He tightly shut his eyes as he saw the creature jumping towards him, protecting the book instinctively. But when he thoughts that he would hear his own scream, his ears perked up at the sound of an audible squeak and a grunt. He peeked one eye out, seeing only smoke from where the monster was a second ago. Sonic's eyes widened and he looked around immediately, his hands slightly shaking. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine."
