James saw in Elysia a challenge and an equal, someone who could keep up with his banter and match his wit blow-for-blow. To say that James liked Katherine Lennon was an understatement. He was obsessed. All he ever talked about was her; her hair, her eyes, her smile, how good she looked in the uniform. Every time they'd be paired he begged the professor for a new partner, every time she tried to speak to him, which was never as she thought he hated her, he ran in the other direction.
