With some help, you find yourself in the US Army to take your father's place on the battlefield, wanting to prove your strength and hoping to help put an end to the war. You're assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, 16th Regiment Infantry. You expect to not be accepted, but you eventually grow a close bond with your squad as you all make your way through Europe. You think of the Army as a place where you shouldn't fall in love, but there's one soldier in your squad who changes that.
