Almost Us tells the story of Arianna, when everything could still happen, when everything felt possible and nothing really was. In 2016, the city felt too small, the nights too short or too nosy, and nothing in between. Between skipping school and the smoke of badly rolled joints, growing up feels urgent. There are beach sunsets, captured in poorly grainy taken Polaroids that somehow look golden. On the coast, cigarettes pass between friends, and the first joints are smoked like rites of passage. School becomes just another place to find weed. The future feels distant. Happiness feels easy - or at least loud. But something is already slipping. Almost Us is a story of youth as illusion: the friendships that almost lasted, the freedom that almost meant something, and the version of ourselves we almost became and never accepted.

In a world where emotion is power, Natasha Aeon is forced to confront bitter truths about her borderline personality disorder (BPD) and bloodline whilst fighting against capitalism and colonialism with help of Dayn Azreth and her unit. She never thought she could wield her mediocre power for good in Azreth Scion, a covert operation she assumed was just another multinational corporation dealing in Vitiumex magic-tech like its rival, Vetlas. This was her chance at a purpose greater than herself - reclaiming her occupied homeland, Alfeirion, from Fieraysia's tyranny. As she navigates a world of covens and bloodlines, Natasha trains with other Scions for the brutal war over Vitiumex, a compound that powers everything from healing to military technology. The story follows her journey where she realises that she is done trying the lawful way and perhaps, being a villain is the only way to get what she wants. All she wanted was love and realises, maybe, just maybe, power is better.. And she has all the emotion she needs to fuel herself.

Oren Hale discovers a memorial page for a boy who died four years ago and cannot explain why the photo looks exactly like him. After that, ordinary life starts to feel staged, like he is walking through a story someone else wrote. His tutor, Ayara, is smart, guarded, and dangerously easy to talk to. Their sessions shift into something riskier: honesty, which only makes the rest of the world feel stranger by comparison. As Oren tries to understand where the dead boy ends and he begins, the people closest to him keep steering him away from the truth. But the more he looks, the clearer it becomes: one of these lives is real, and the other is a mistake. He just doesn't know which one. One year ago, Sarah's best friend Cassie brutally murdered four classmates in the house next door. Then Cassie disappeared. No one knows why she did it. Or that Sarah could have stopped her. Now, strange things are happening - messages written in blood, familiar voices whispering to Sarah, faces in the mirror that aren't her own. Cassie's favorite slumber party game was always Bloody Mary and her final entries in a journal are filled with stories about a "presence" in the mirror, who listened when no one else did. Cassie poured her fear, anger, and heartbreak into Bloody Mary - confessing the bullying, loneliness, and slow, painful realization that Sarah was starting to make new friends and move on without her. As the anniversary of the murders approaches, Sarah and her friends - including Abby, who might be something more - must follow the clues and go to what's now called the Demon House. There, they will learn what really happened, what Cassie unleashed...and whether she's still alive. Cassie faced her demons and failed. Bloody Mary is done waiting. And Sarah is next. --------- Highest Rankings: 🥇#1 in Urban Legends 🥇 #1 in YA Horror 🥈#2 in Occult Top 5 in Psychological Horror Top 5 in Horror *Updates on Tuesdays and Fridays*
