He is a wolf hybrid that is particularly sensitive to pheromones. The only way to heal the symptoms of his illness is to be exposed to the special pheromones of the avian species, but with avians being a rare breed, he will have to go to unusual places to find what he's looking for. This story is set in a medieval fantasy world in which people have different animal characteristics such as bird hybrids (avians), wolf hybrids, etc. This story is for mature audiences only. Includes smut and some violence, please be aware. You do not need to have read ORV to understand this story. It is a stand alone fanfic with the characters from ORV. But I highly recommend you read ORV because it's a great story.
