However, after random spurts of emotion from the infamous criminal, she starts to doubt he really did murder everyone he's said to. Especially since she finds it increasingly harder to hate him and easier to watch his lips move when he talks. It doesn't particularly help that Augustus can't seem to keep his hands away from her either. Maybe Augustus isn't insane. Or maybe Augustus is completely and utterly deranged. But for some reason or another, she doesn't believe this beast inside of him is as bad as everyone is saying it is. And for some reason or another, he wants Belle more than she thought possible.
