A disaster aboard the starship Valiant leaves the crew stranded in orbit of an alien planet's moon, and an expedition to the planet takes a turn for the worst when they find the planet is inhabited by aliens that don't take kindly to their arrival.

The starship Valiant, now relocated to Earth orbit, prepares for a visit from a group of Human ambassadors. Tensions between the crew explode after a horrifying reality of Human military technological achievement comes to light. Book 2 of what I suppose is a Codename Alpha series. Since this is book 2, it may be worth your time to check out the previous, which is just called Codename Alpha. It isn't needed, but it may give you some added context.

I lay there, staring up into the sky, wondering what had just happened. I had died. Or at least, I thought I died. Synopsis: A 34 year old soldier Simo Shephard dies while in active combat, yet instead of waking up at the pearly gates, he wakes up in a different kind of hell. Read as he survives in a world of animal hybrids known as chimeras, and as he tries his best to aid humanity as they dwindle ever closer to a silent extinction. Will he succeed in making a foothold for humanity? Will he change the tyrannical ways of the world? Or will he fail, leaving the fate of humanity to the chimeras. Doss an ODST with good skills and a good heart was supposed to be part of a huge mission to recover an artifact from the Covenant, but Fate has other plans... He will have to journey with the most oddest of groups he has ever encountered to survive in this new world. This has been in my mind for quite a while now so I figured I might as well make it into a story... I don't own any of the characters in the story, they belong to their respective owners: Bungie inc, 343 Industries (Now turned Halo industries), Tom Fischbach.

"Working in Laminax Laboratories can be pretty tiresome, some miss their friends and family too, after many considerations we have decided to create the After Hours Protocol, which plans on giving our employee a 1 month worth of well deserved vacation. All personnel will be escorted back to the surface, and to protect our most valuable assets, the facility will be in lockdown, so that no one can get it.. and no one can get out." After Hours is a story based on Kaiju Paradise, a game on Roblox which you should definetly play by the way (It's Free!). The story is about Y/N, an intern like employee that worked only a couple of month in the Laminax Laboratories, and unfortunatly for them, they accidentally got locked in the facility during the After Hours Protocol, and they have no idea what awaits them down there. If you already played Kaiju Paradise and/or are in the community, I advise you to check the Important Notes chapter to understand what stuff will and won't be in the story (it ain't spoilers).

(If you have no clue what kp, or kaiju paradise is, go to the roblox kaiju paradise wiki and spend some time looking through it, then come back and read the book.) (This book includes semi detailed violence and swearing. If you are uncomfortable with those materials, you are not required to read this book.) (Currently removing all instances that are references to 'transfur/goo/forbidden game', so if you see some writing that refers to the creatures as raytraxians and the next chapter they are referred to as gootraxians then I haven't gotten to the next chapter yet) Your average person named Jake is in need of a job, badly so. He was fired from his last one, and to make things worse, it didn't even have a good pay. He is trying to get enough money to at least live in an apartment on his own, so he'll do anything to get money. Just when he thought things wouldn't work out for him, he found an email from a place called 'Laminax Laboratories'. He ponders for a few seconds before clicking on the email. It was offering him a job, where he performs tests on..'animals'. Despite the obvious red flags, he took the scientist position. Only time will tell what happens to him. (If you want to make any ships on the characters in this book, please tell me before you go make it all willy nilly. Also, if you make a book inspired by this one or use some of the character(s), be sure to, at the very least, credit me. I do not own Kaiju Paradise in any way.
