After Shadow fails a high-stakes G.U.N. mission, the organization turns on him. Stripped of his Chaos energy and held prisoner for three agonizing months, he endures torture, isolation, and silence. When he finally escapes, he was found by the last person he expected to see again: Sonic, the one who promises to help him recover what was stolen. But as the journey unfolds, Shadow begins to question: is regaining his powers the same as regaining himself?

Sonic and shadow. The two most popular boys in the school for the same reason. Sports and looks, the only difference being, everything, they are complete polar opposites. Sonic, an outgoing, extroverted and friendly boy, while shadow, was just the opposite. He spent his days alone, when he wasn't playing football or being simped over by every girl in school, he was home, alone in his dark room. After a while of bickering, they finally get to know each other over a few drinks and a game of spin the bottle. Fights happen, lust arises, love forms. They're all humans!!

Shadow has always hated Sonic's guts. His stupid face, stupid smile, stupid voice, stupid everything! He's always been nothing but a pain. How could he be so carefree and relaxed all the time when it feels as if all of Mobius relies on him? Shadow struggles to find peace as he has constant nightmares and thoughts of his past. He lost his only purpose, Why was he even here? Why did he have to be created if all he's ever brought is pain and suffering to those he loves? Things start to change after his friends force him to stop fighting with Sonic for the good of the team. Shadow and Sonic are as different as can be...but is that really so bad?
