Alice recently developed a new philosophy that you only get one chance and you can't let the promise of tomorrow keep you from fixing the broken relationships in your life. So, Alice decides to apologizing to the one person she's seeking forgiveness from, her neighbor, James Carper. James Carper is a bad boy who recently had some problems in life. They weren't pleasant but no problems are. While healing, he didn't expect his ex-best friend to show up at his door saying sorry for everything. This simple, five minute re-start caused both of their lives to change. They knew this without a question, but for better or for worse, they didn't know. ~~~~~~ The first couple of chapters are not the best I've written, but keep reading and it gets better. Also, my main character repeats 'Oh boy' a lot because i was young when I wrote this; so, be prepared for it. Thank you.

Nolan, an unapproachable guy who ignores the existence of all his schoolmates, sleeps in all of his classes. Normally, this wouldn't be Chelsea Arnold's problem-she does her best to pay attention in class and attends gym like a good, normal student. Unfortunately, she just so happens to be his assigned desk partner in many classes. She's frequently forced to wake him in English class and ends up earning the unofficial title of Nolan's Wake-up Alarm-a title that nobody in the entire school covets. The last thing she wants is to interact with him more than she absolutely has to. One day, their gym teacher sends her to bring him back to class, which he always skips for some reason. When she accidentally shines her flashlight in his sleeping face, it triggers a chain of events that gradually intertwines their lives together. It's hard to be a normal student when you start befriending the school oddball. It doesn't help that he has more secrets than the Big Ben has stairs. ----- Complete. Was published, but is now off the market--I'm sorry! Brianne is the opposite of her best friend, Kyla. Kyla is open-minded; Brianne is closed off, judgmental. Kyla is a hopeless romantic. Brianne? Not so much. So when Kyla shoves an apple into her face telling her to throw it across the cafeteria so she can find her future love, Brianne is anything but interested. And yet she throws the apple anyway. Who does the apple hit? Dannon Barone, the most popular boy in school. Though he's seemingly sweet and all-smiles, Brianne dislikes him. She thinks he's a fake, a fraud, someone who is just charming the crowds in order to gain popularity. But Brianne is about to learn that stereotypes are not true, and that she's been too quick to judge those around her. Brianne Nichols' life is about to change forever. And what does she have to thank for it? A bruised piece of fruit. Who would have known that a stupid apple could be right? | technically not part of the summary | Okay, so I know the prenote says to find any errors you can. Just letting you know there's no point to that anymore because I've reedited it two more times after this one (extensively so), and already sent it in to be self-published. The only reason that the prenote is still up is because a fan made an amusing slideshow and if I edit anything then the tags for the wattys will be gone and I'll no longer be entered , hahah!

"People would die to see us together." Huh, as if. "Too bad their dreams won't ever come true." I leaned forward and gave him a sorry look. "Ever." I added with a sharp edge and narrowed my eyes. He smirked. I stood my ground. But I could still feel my cheeks take up a slight pink. It also made me think if Sam was my only mysterious problem. But I knew better. ~ They're arch-enemies. One popular, friendly girl and a hugely dangerous secret. One popular, arrogant guy and a dark deadly secret. One ruined relationship. Two entwined secrets. They hate. They bite. They prank. ~ongoing~ Andrea Wren had experienced countless setbacks in her life, the greatest of them all being the loss of her parents in a hit-and-run. The unsolved mystery tormented her for years, she believed that there was more than the court revealed. Now that things are eventually looking up and she has a lead on the case, an intimidating man lurking in the shadows gets in her way. There was nothing soft about him. Not his voice, not his stare, and definitely not the way he moved, like every step had already been plotted ten moves ahead. Though they start off on the wrong foot, the walls between them soon begin to crack and a reluctant alliance is initiated. With glares turning into secret glances and an irresistible attraction binding them, something more is bound to arise. ◕ ◕ ◕ He smirked, the kind that curled with trouble, and slowly leaned in, his eyes locked on mine, unblinking. My breath hitched as I braced myself against the desk behind me, my fingers curling around the edge. His gaze flicked to my lips, a fleeting loaded glance, before he abruptly turned away stepping back just far enough to make me ache for air. "If you keep this up," he murmured, voice low and edged with heat, "I might just kiss that smart mouth of yours." I pushed off the desk, circling around him, my tone firm but my knees anything but steady. "I'm being serious here." "So am I." There was something darker in his eyes now, something unreadable and electric. My skin tingled with warning. Before I could figure out what had shifted, he moved. ~weekly updates~
