UA's strong and reliable Student Council President is beloved (and feared) by the student body. And although she's in General Studies and her work keeps her busy a lot of the time, she finds herself roped into joining the Bakusquad after many chance encounters with their hotheaded leader, who finds her bossy attitude incredibly annoying. He'd have to teach her he doesn't take orders from anyone, much less a general studies extra. Unfortunately for him, he'll have to take another route of dealing with a girl who isn't scared nor fazed by his violent threats. the 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 and the 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤. it was 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 supposed to happen - but 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 of them can 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲. it started as a 𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫. it ended as something 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥. 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬, and a whole lot of 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫.

It's no secret we hate each other. I suppose I wouldn't mind that we seem to be academically matched in everything, except Zane is an arrogant asshole about it and I try to keep my head down. I'm not stupid, clearly, I understood Zane was insanely gorgeous. And I'd heard enough stories from the girl's showers to know that his body was amazing. I think in the beginning I hated him just out of spite, but now it really is essential. Because if I didn't hate him I'd probably fall in love with him from the sheer amount of time we spend together since all our teachers think sitting the smartest students near or next to each other in every class is an amazing idea. And I knew falling in love with Zane Ivory was just begging to get your heart obliterated.
