Hi there! My name is Clara Salazar and welcome to my songbook! Here you'll have the opportunity to be he first to read my original lyrics that'll be released on my future debut album, Sweet Misery, and it's deluxe version, Sweet Misery: Heartbreak Confessions. I've been wanting to be a singer/songwriter ever since I was 13 and wattpad has truly impacted me because before I got this app, I would've never realized this was what I was meant to do in life. Now I'm 19 and doing everything I can to accomplish that goal. I want to thank my closest friends on this app who have supported me non-stop and I owe it all to you guys. Without you, I wouldn't persevere as much. Because of you, the future is bright and clear. Without you, life would be sweet misery. I will love you eternally <3

❝ 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣. 𝙉𝙤, 𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 ❞ Hey there, it's me, Clara Salazar... again. Yep, I'm back with another songwriting era, this time a total contrast to the previous songwriting sessions of 'Faded Daydreams'. I'm personally reflecting upon the aftermath of when my ignorance was bliss, about how it all truly feels like once the daydreams fade and it turns out that it was all just Tainted Illusions to cope. Falling down from cloud 9 and into the total truth, to face a range of emotions I managed to push away and shove aside for four months. Perhaps it's time I face them in order to conclude that chapter of my life. When I found old song drafts from earlier this year, I figured that it would be cool to continue on that storyline and timeframe in order to personally put it behind once and for all. In order to step into the daylight, one must riot through the dark midst first, no matter how cloudy it gets. I'm welcoming the storm proudly :) Started: April 27th Completed: TBD

❝ 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 ❞ hi, it's me clara again and this time around i've decided to head forwards a new route in my songwriting- possibly a side of my songwriting you've never seen. you've probably read my heartbreak songs, and that's great, but i've moved on to a new chapter of my songwriting and there's truly nothing like this. i feel like i've begun again, but at the same time i'm going back to the basics. just know this feelings not rare, and i'm still figuring out this coming of age. it's all coming down like the aglow shore of the waterfall, whilst the moonlight reflects their light across. i'm not even trying to be poetic rn, i'm just simply referencing songs that you'll soon see and i'm so excited!! i really do hope you'll enjoy these, just like you enjoyed 'sweet misery'?! i've come a long way since then and there's so much new songs to come!
