Have you ever wondered what the life of a murderer consisted of? How well they manage to keep their insanity hidden under many years of pressure. How many lives they had witnessed, first hand, come to an end. After witnessing the death of her family members, (Y/N) seeks redemption. (Y/N) has traveled the world, but no place will ever satisfy her cravings. She spent most of her life in Ireland after the murder and built friendships, connections, and most importantly, a strong alcohol tolerance. Yet, only one out of three would be useful in certain situations. After finally snapping and killing someone out of rage, she was smuggled into the United States, and ended up landing in the small town of Teufort, New Mexico. A small, isolated town, that was probably already full of deranged killers and frauds. She earns herself a job in the town's saloon, in order to earn her keep, and plays the piano to keep the guests entertained. She had heard stories of a group of men that the town wasn't too fond of. Soon, those stories have been put to truth, as a handful of them walk through the saloon doors, looking specifically for her. What could they possibly want?

After reading a few one-shots myself, I decided to join the trend and make my own. I will gladly take any ideas you guys throw at me (if I haven't already written it in here myself). Please be respectful of my ideas as this is my first one-shot collection. All artwork except for the Burly Beast chapter is not mine.

A Medic x Reader story. You've just started your training, but are a little hung up on a concerning problem rising in your mentality; Anxiety. You can't fight as well as the others, and start to fall into the shadows. You wonder if it would better if you just...faded away... None of these characters are mine. All except the main character belong to Valve.
