Elpis is 16 years old when she decides to leave home to find her father who doesn't even know she exists. She takes a huge risk running away to meet and get to know him. Not completely sure of what she is going to do once she meets him, she decides not to tell him and instead to get to know him. While trying to stay out of sight from the cops she meets a boy who helps her. Everything seems to be going great despite some unexpected occurrences shaking uo her original plans. This including getting caught up in a romance of sorts, unexpectently adopting a cat that she must hide from the hotel owner and nearly getting caught by the cops. Until a tragedy nobody could have seen coming strikes. If you are into romance, drama, and up fro a heart warming story, than be sure to read this one. Don't go to far from the tissue box as you will be taken on a roller coaster of emotions.

Daya starts out in a depressed state and her friends slowly drag her out of it. She then has a mission to make sure she is not forgotten. Her family and friends help her, but also have to learn to help themselves with the coming loss of this wonderful girl they have come to love so much.
