The two promised to become the best in the world together. But life is rarely that simple. His best friend was killed, and Jack went off the deep end. His grades plummeted, he could no longer play for any organized teams, and he only ever played soccer by himself, and got into fights with gang members and delinquents constantly. Though eventually, an incident caused him to become a shut-in. He developed a severe case of anxiety and depression. And as the world kept spinning around him, he wallowed. Until one day, he came across an ad. A school in Japan of all places was recruiting potential foreign students. And with a rare spark of motivation, he enrolls in the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. (This is a rewrite of my original fanfic of the same name. How one great act of kindness leads to an avalanche of questions and events for Kiyotaka. In this story, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka will attend the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School with the intent to understand not just everything he couldn't grasp in the White room, but also to understand himself. This is my take on the character of Kiyotaka, therefore he will obviously act different than in the LN. For example, he will try to be more helpful to others, but also much more assertive. He won't be the cringe sIGmA that doesn't feel anything though. He will also have trauma from his past. I haven't really seen any fanfics that were talking about this, so I decided to do one.
