"Little fox, please let me go, I only came here because I thought you were sleeping, and I needed to see you at least one last time." It was the biggest lie Jacks had ever told, he knew Evangeline was awake, he wanted to hear her voice one last time before he left. "No, you can't do this to me." Evangeline put her hands on Jacks' shoulders, he felt her tremble. "I can't watch you die again, I can't." With blood on his face, he was breaking down in front of her.
