[This story takes place 8 months after season 4] Mike has always been in denial about his feelings towards Will. He had pushed him away multiple times because of this denial but now Will and his family is back in Hawkins. Will has been a wreck this past eight months of being back in Hawkins. He couldn't help but feel anxious about the situation at hand. He could feel Vecna regenerating and he was afraid, terrified. He was trying to play it off cool but he just couldn't. One night Will wakes up from a nightmare seeing and feeling Vecna and he doesn't want to be anywhere but back in Michael's room sleeping with him like when they were little. Because of Hawkins destruction and the "gates of hell" many people moved out of it. Hawkins is slowly being crept up upon by the upside down which is now making it's way into reality because of Vecna and there's only one way to stop it and Will knows it. - takes place after the events of season 4, but basically Vecna did die, but nothing else changed. Max is still on a coma, but her heart didn't stop so the fourth gate never opened. they had successfully closed the gates and we're in a normal life. Eddie is dead, so are Vecnas victims. Will and El along with their family has moved back to Hawkins, while Yuri and Dmitri have taken up loud residence at Murray's. sorry babes - - summer vacation - Dustin is still struggling with Eddie's death. he often has nightmares and wakes up startled in the middle of the night because of them. To cope he either sits on the radio with a groggy Suzie (which of whom has been reduced to a best friend after realizing they HIGHLY mixed platonic feelings with romantic) or staying up on the walkie talkie with an even grumpier Lucas or Mike. Lucas ofcourse visits Max frequently, and she has even been confirmed to possibly wake up soon. He brings her flowers every day, but as time goes on he loses the feelings he had for her. More than half the time he's the one stuck with calming down Dustin on the talkies or even biking over to his house in the middle of the night. Soon the two had started to catch feelings for one another. They spend more and more time together, and soon everyone in the remaining party is suspecting them of being a thing. of course they refuse, but as time goes on, they're more and more confused. The whole ordeal is sort of **Confusing**, you know?
