This is a Devil May Cry X Reader, mainly you're a reborn (aka: a retired demon half angel, spreading hope and helping lost souls). This is during the 5th game with V at first then finding out it's been Vergil the entire time. Enjoy! ~ A V X Reader set in an Alternate Universe wherein Nero supposedly defeats Urizen that 15th of May. ~ V goes on a search for power to keep his mortal flesh from crumbling - a result from his failure to merge with Urizen. With the Yamato at his disposal, he goes to every place he could think of, looking for any clue and any kind of magic to heal him. However, his search for that elusive power led him back to Red Grave, where a disaster beyond his imagination has already began to claw its way towards its helpless citizens. Along with familiar faces, he takes on the very reckless job, hoping to atone for all the mistakes he has done in the past, all the while trying his very best to reconcile with the very few people he knew. He is aware that he might die along the way without ever having to see through his search for that different kind of power, but, deep in his heart, he knew he would be doing one last act of kindness towards the people he tried to end in the past. Until he meets an equally mysterious girl who, like the rest of them, takes on the job. But, unlike them, she looks like she does not possess any kind of power at her disposal to win the war against the Dreadnaught. What is her purpose? What is her motivation for going through this dangerous decision? This story was originally a oneshot I was writing on but it got so intense and long that I've decided to turn it into its own story: As Nico comes back from a supply shopping trip she brings back an old friend named Rose. The young Devil Hunter Nero is shocked to see her after he had rejected her love for Kyrie but now that Kyrie is gone what will become of the two?

Especially the raven haired, green eyed summon she secretly has a crush on. Of course that doesn't mean that she understands it herself, at all. Who knows what Morrisons new mission entails for her and the others. A discovery is closer than she knows. I own nothing but the character of Mel all rights go to their respective owners. This is a fan fic so does not follow the events of DMC5 and V and Vergil are two different people. Will contain lemon in later chapters.
