This story is a portrayal of how I imagine Mike and El's lives were after her 'death,' starting from the moment things end at Max-Z and going from there. I wanted to do something different with this story: I didn't do a huge time jump or have Mileven reunite 5 or 10 years later. Just keep reading and you'll see where it goes, but I promise it will be a very satisfying journey for both sides.
