This is the story I wrote after the release of WangXian version of Donghua. The lyrics were heart wrenching and I became aware of Lan Wangji's pain, endurance and agony once again and wrote it on a whim. The other stories are glimpses into what I imagine their life to be.

When Wei Ying came back from the buriel mounds, although everyone didn't notice Lan Zhan did notice that something was wrong, and he didn't let it go.
