Everyone had known that Tim and Lucy have been together since that uc mission that was 5 years ago but what they hadn't known was that Lucy has gotten pregnant two times and they are now living a private life with a 5 year old son and a 3 year old daughter.

Lucy Chen has a 6 year old daughter named Aria but the father is Tim Bradford but he doesn't know. The two of them, 6 years ago, had a one night stand on an undercover mission.

Working side by side has always been easy for Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford. Dealing with what's growing between them is not. Set during late Season 3 and early Season 4 of The Rookie, this slow-burn Chenford story follows quiet glances, dangerous calls, and moments that linger a little too long. As the line between partner and something more begins to blur, both are forced to face feelings they've been trying to ignore. Some connections can't stay hidden forever. And some moments change everything.

In which the Valentine's Day ex-sex has a major consequence. Post 7x06 Chenford unplanned pregnancy fic. - "Any chance you could be pregnant?" the nurse asks casually, like it's just any other question. Lucy opens her mouth to wave the option off, because she's got a IUD, and even then, she's not really sexually active right now, not since the breakup- Valentine's Day. Suddenly, her mind is spinning, even though she just doesn't think it's likely. She has an IUD. It was one night. She doesn't even think it was during her ovulation period. She had her period recently. But just the thought of it... It's pretty much impossible, right?
