Sonic and shadow have been getting close as of recently...sonic's been having a hard time hiding his feelings for shadow, what happens when tails and the others find out? (Also yes I did change the plot I'm so sorry y'all I just didn't like the old one)

Sonic never thought he'd fall for his grumpy, brooding rival-but somewhere between their endless races and late-night stargazing, Shadow opened up. And Sonic? He was all in. They were unstoppable, the perfect balance of speed and strength, light and dark. Until the day everything shattered. When an attack on Earth spirals out of control, Shadow is gravely wounded and loses his life-leaving Sonic broken and furious. He can't just move on. Not when the universe feels so empty without him. But then Sonic discovers a dangerous truth: there are other realities out there. Other Shadows. Some colder, some kinder, some who never even met him-but none of them are his Shadow. So he keeps searching, racing through universe after universe, hoping to find the one who can fill the void in his heart. But with every reality he visits, Sonic starts losing himself a little more. How far will he go before he realizes that no matter how many worlds he crosses... there's no Shadow like his?
