Percy Jackson was a hero. But even heroes can't escape cruel fate. A curse was placed upon him, a curse that no one should ever bear. Percy saved the world time in time again, rising to the challenge whenever someone dares threaten the existence of the Earth. He asked for nothing in return, but he was still rewarded. He was rewarded lifetimes of pain and suffering. Yet he didn't even have a voice to cry out with.

After the Second Giant War Annabeth leaves Percy for immortality. Percy's heart turns ice cold after the "love of his life" leaves him. He decides he needed some alone time so he leaves camp and heads up north to help him cope with the heartbreak. ~~~~ Years later and no one has heard from or seen Percy. A war is Brewing between the god and an old evil. They call for Percy's help. He comes to aid in the war, but he is not the same Percy they all remember.
