Jessa Dalone, an American child, was given up for adoption at birth. Doctors said she had a heart condition that her birth parents didn't want to deal with. In the midst of growing up she moved to England hoping to be adopted. 10 years later, she found out that her heart was fine and the doctors' screwed up her whole life. She was always moving from foster home to foster home and was eventually put on the streets to fend for herself at the age of 14. On the streets, she finds Sam who is like a Dad to her and helps her survive day by day. But how long will he be by her side with his old age and kidney disease?
