Some encounters don't announce themselves.
They trip you on the way in, steal your balance, and then laugh while you're still on the floor.
Seokmin fell in love at first sight.
Not metaphorically. Not poetically. His brain shut down, his heart panicked, and his soul went, Oh no. One look was all it took-for bad decisions, unnecessary hope, and a lifetime supply of optimism he absolutely did not ask for.
Joshua Hong never looked back.
He lived by order-calendars color-coded, emotions neatly filed under irrelevant, and people categorized as either useful or background. When he passed Seokmin, he acknowledged the existence of a human being and continued forward. Efficient. Clean. Unbothered.
Seokmin, unfortunately, took this as a challenge.
He followed cheerfully. Casually. With the confidence of someone who believed love could be negotiated through persistence, jokes, and excellent timing. He chased while pretending he wasn't chasing, smiled while being ignored.
There were confessions. So many dramatic moments.
And one man sprinting emotionally while another walking away at a respectable, unhurried pace-
completely unaware that he'd already been signed up
for a problem like Seokmin.
