Horror | Mystery | Short story "Whispers Of Red Book" follows the journey of Pansy, a young university student. She moves to a small PG near her University ,she has no idea that the quite solitude she seeks will soon be disturbed by eerie whispers and strange happenings. After discovering a mysterious red book. Pansy's life takes a dark turn. The book with its cryptic countdown, seems to know more about her then she does and it's pages start to reveal unsettling truths about her own life. Pansy becomes trapped in a supernatural puzzle - where the lines between reality and fiction blur. With each passing day, the countdown ticks closer to zero and Pansy realises that she is not just reading the book , but becoming part of it. Pansy must race against time to uncover that truth before the story reaches it's final, terrifying conclusion. Will she be the one to finish it , or will the book consume her forever?

Scary haikus with some based on horror films, liminal space/backrooms, as well as nightmares/night terrors I had as a kid. I stick to the strict 5-7-5 syllable structure as I feel it's more fun and challenging for me. Also, when finished, I would love to make these into a book with illustrations. :)
