In these pages, the world is both light and heavy-sometimes in the same breath. This is a catch-call collection of my own poetry, prose and/or lyrics that I've accumulated over the years that I related to and enjoyed writing and re-writing. I don't know, I just hope you enjoy them or find some comfort in them as well. :) Also, possibly relevant, I'm queer, autistic/adhd and very traumatized so if you relate, you might, like idk, relate to these maybe or they may be a little too real??

Peaches is a nearly blind artist who is losing her eyesight rapidly due to a life-threatening infection. When the young woman is given three months until she either completely loses all of her eyesight or dies from the infection that is killing her body, she is unable to decide if she would rather live a long life in darkness or a perfect one for three short months. As the pressures of her home life and her soon approaching death date become unbearable, Peaches decides to run away with her best friend to California so she can search for that certain 'honey-colored, perfect vignette, drive into the sunset' kind of moment so that she can die happily. But, she didn't expect to find that her silent guardian angel has different ideas for her. Author's note: The art in the cover was a commission done by Agatheas-dcizsru ( on DeviantArt) of a character named Eden, who belongs fully to me.

You and I- we carry different stories, and that's what makes each of us uniquely our own. This is simply a continuation of mine, where I'm learning, healing, and sometimes falling back along the way. If you're here, I hope these words give you hope- or whatever you need to keep going.

A human. A beautiful, messy, complicated being. Full of contradictions, full of scars, full of moments you wish you could rewrite. These soft reminders are here for you - to offer comfort when your mind is loud, clarity when your thoughts feel tangled, and a little peace when your heart feels heavy. I hope you find something in these words that reaches you, even if it's just a small spark of understanding or a quiet moment of relief. Take what you need, leave what doesn't fit, and know that nothing here is meant for anyone else. This is for you, not me. These pages are a space to witness your struggles, honor your growth, and remind you that you deserve care - especially from yourself. You are allowed to feel, to stumble, to pause, and to keep moving forward, at your own pace. Let this be a soft hand reaching toward you in the moments when life feels too loud or too heavy. This is for you, not me.

In the late nineties asexuality is all but ignored as an orientation. Jess doesn't understand her complex array of emotions or why she finds it so hard to relate to her fellow classmates. Catholic high schools and churches simply don't address the issue, and the internet is still nascent. Jess can't tell anyone the truth. Not even her best friend Care. Instead, she hides behind the guise of faith. Behind a mask of celibacy. Until she meets Eric, that is. He lets slip that he's asexual, and Jess wants to learn more. --- Watty Winner 2021 for best cover, best YA, and the Wattpad Books prize! --- Status: completed and unedited Rating: PG-15 for moderate language and frank discussions about sexuality Genre: teen fiction romance featuring two heteroromantic ace characters --- Cover designed using Canva Pro August 2020 --- Please note: This work is a teen fiction novelization of my multimedia novella "Mask of Celibacy".
