Als sie alt genug war, zog sie einen Schlussstrich, ließ sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend nieder und fing ein neues Leben an. Doch das Glück hielt nicht lange an und vor drei Jahren nahm man ihr das Wichtigste. Mit ihrem Job am Jeffersonian versucht sie, alles hinter sich zu lassen und einen weiteren Neuanfang zu starten. Währenddessen lernt (DN) den Psychologen Lance Sweets kennen, und tatsächlich scheint es bergauf zu gehen. Doch dann bricht ihre Welt erneut zusammen, als ein Fall ins Jeffersonian kommt, der ihr sehr nahe geht, und das Unglück nimmt erneut seinen Lauf... Notiz vom Autor: Das ist keine typische Liebesgeschichte. Ich konzentriere mich neben der Beziehung der Protagonisten auch sehr stark auf Themen, die für manche aufgrund von bestimmten Erfahrungen nicht geeignet sind, und für die ich hiermit eine Triggerwarnung aussprechen möchte. Die Warnung gilt für Häusliche Gewalt und Alkoholmissbrauch. Für mich waren einige Details, die während der Recherche aufkamen, ebenfalls nicht einfach zu verarbeiten- das habe ich schlussendlich nicht miteinbezogen. Häusliche Gewalt in jeder seiner Formen ist unfassbar grausam; aber dennoch wünsche ich mir mehr Aufklärung, deshalb gibt es diese Geschichte. Da ich diese Themem sehr ernst nehme, wünsche ich mir, dass Betroffene (wenn es kein Problem ist) mich berichtigen, solltet jemand es lesen und es gibt unrealistische Textstellen.

This fanfiction follows the story of the tv series, Bones, however it will have chapters of my own imagination in the mix, so I guess it's an OC insert of sorts.
