It's been around six years since Larry Johnson moved away from Nockfell and started a new life. Sal has stayed the whole time, hopeful to see him again, but hope was fading fast as the two had hardly even talked since their departure. That is, until Sal also moves and accidentally bumps into his old pal. Sparks fly, and it's like they're kids again! But they aren't anymore. They're adults, with their own problems and their own worries. Sal wants to take care of Larry and Larry doesn't want to be taken care of. Yet what if there comes a time where he needs to be taken care of? Where he can't even take care of himself? Well, when that time comes, it won't be pretty. No one noticed the blue haired boy, unless it was to make fun of his prosthetic face. Henry Fisher, the father of the boy, decided that maybe moving to some place new would help lift the boy's spirits. Sal didn't think it would work, he thought that he'd just be thrown into a war zone of hormonal teens. Until he met the Johnson boy and his group of misfits. Everyone became quick friends, each confiding in one another with feelings and secrets. During late nights Sal would confide in Larry with his nightmares, which occurred frequently after 'the incident'. He thought maybe they were just close friend, until he realized: what if they could be more?

Despite his best attempts, the words coming from his demons aren't disposable, and his main demon isn't making his life any better at school. Sally's friends, Larry, Ashley, and Todd, do their best to lift their friend up, but despite their efforts it's not having the same effect as they had hoped. For Ashley and Todd that is, Larry seems to have a better grasp on Sally and his situations. His dad is an abusive drunkard that doesn't see the wrong in his violent actions. Sally's personal demon is sending him destructive messages that do nothing but bring the boy lower than the ground. Even though he has his demon on his back, Larry has his back. Through thick and thin and back again. These actions seem to have a lasting effect as Sally realizes that his best friend might be more than a friend. Lets see how this ends

Sal Fisher was just a young boy when he lost his mother, and his face. So young with so much trauma can really mess up your chance of a childhood. He's gotten used to being knocked down and made fun of, and he expected the same exact thing during his move to Nockfell. What he got instead, though, was a friend. The stereotypical bad boy; a stoner, a skater, a womanizer. But inside he's really a big softy; loves animals, the best shoulder to cry on, and a true artist. Sal fell in love with him quickly. It wasn't all good, though. The small town was small and scary- the normal "ghost town". Not many people lived in Nockfell, but for good reason. The town was a total freak show, not that Sal could talk. It was full of decay and death, and had an excruciatingly dark past. Larry himself believed that something about the town was off, though he kept a skeptical mindset. When the group of Ashley, Todd, Sal, and Larry all start sticking their noses in places they ought not be, what will happen? Will Larry find his father, or something much, much worse?
