However, Nico seemed rather... rough around the edges. Rude. Will was driving his friends crazy with how often he talked about this tired midnight barista. Riding the line between being a nobody and being a creep is unbelievably hard when there's one worker, one customer, silence, and it's the middle of the night. Midnight Coffee shares its storyline with my book Coffee at Midnight, these are written to play with different perspectives in storytelling. Midnight Coffee was written first, is told strictly from Nico's perspective, and has a cast of Percy Jackson characters. Coffee at Midnight is told strictly from Will's perspective, has a cast of Magnus Chase characters, and includes bonus scenes between the two. These stories are set in a world with no gods or demigods. Will and Nico were both born in the mid-90s (this story is set in 2015). These are fanfiction based on the Percy Jackson franchise. All characters are owned by Rick Riordan.

(I keep all my fanfiction true to the characters and the books/shows they're based off, considering make-believe events that would not disrupt the happening of events in future books/series.) Odin has given Samirah a special secret mission to rescue his personal mount, Sleipnir, the eight-legged equine son of Loki, from a giant in Jotunheim. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. This year, her father is home the week of the spring time celebrations and for the first time Piper is going to the spring festival. Jason Grace is the Sky Kingdom's only prince. Him and his older sister, Thalia, have a lot of responsibilities being the only kids to King Zeus. One of those responsibilities being that they must be present during the spring festival. As both kids are trying to get away from all the camera's, they stumble into one another. And that is where the story begins. (I made the cover, but not the art on it. This story somewhat goes along with my Solangelo story, but you don't have to read it in order to know what's going on.)
