Clarie is a highschooler with an overwhelming passion for music. In fact, she's a composer and pianist. She wants to express it all around the world and be known for it. However, her style is unique and people nowadays just don't get it. Clarie isn't able to get to her friends' band just because her music taste is this different. But she gets newfound strength by thinking that it doesn't matter: If she would try hard enough people would start liking her music just for being that good, without them needing to like the genre. She thinks she can change the world and start making people like her music through its brilliancy. But stuff doesn't go as planned, and a long, hard period of suffering begins...

Our story opens up with the feelings and actions of our protagonist having another warm and dry school summer day, when suddenly, without a warning, the whole world has been changed in front of his eyes. It looked like the same place, but... Consisting of sand only. Like in a desert. Why did it happen, he doesn't know at the moment. Question is, what will happen next...?
