Retold from Mia's perspective. Hey, amazing readers! Welcome to The Archer's Daughter, a heartfelt dive into the world of Mia Smoak and her daughter, Ellie, as they navigate legacy, love, and the chaos of Star City's streets. This story picks up where The last version left us, exploring Mia's journey as a hero, a mother, and a woman carving her own path in the shadow of the Green Arrow. First off, a huge shoutout to my incredible co-writer, @OutCastedInk who's brought Ellie to life with so much depth and spark in this Retelling version of The Archers Daughter. Ellie is Mia's firecracker of a daughter-brave, stubborn, and a little too clever for her own good. Together, we've crafted her as a perfect blend of Smoak grit and Queen heart, with a dash of her own unique chaos. Collaborating with @Outcastedink has been a blast; their knack for Ellie's voice adds such a vibrant layer to this story, and I'm so grateful for their creativity and passion. This fic is a love letter to the Arrow fandom, especially those who adored Mia's fierce spirit in the flash-forwards. Expect action, family feels, and some unexpected twists as Mia balances raising Ellie with protecting a city that never seems to catch a break. We're staying true to the show's tone-gritty but hopeful-while sprinkling in our own flair. Some canon events will be referenced, but we're taking liberties to explore new stories, so don't expect a strict adherence to the Arrowverse timeline. A quick heads-up: this story will touch on themes of grief, identity, and the weight of legacy, with some mild violence typical of Star City's vigilante life. We'll include content warnings where needed. Updates will come as regularly as our schedules allow, but we're aiming for biweekly chapters. We'd love to hear your thoughts-comments, kudos, and theories are always welcome! Thank you for joining us on this ride. Let's see where Mia and Ellie take us. - GreenArrowsHeir & @outcastedink

Explanation of the Fanfic. Who it is inspired by and what key parts were used and why. ❤️‍🩹if you are in the system, I hope you pull inspiration and resiliency out of Mia and Ellie's tale. 🦋 I write comfort fictions as a hobbie. But, I do creative writing, Table Top Rps on social media platforms on a regular basis. 🕊️ you can find freedom. There's Hope. Don't give up. Be resilient. If you or someone you know is suffering in the system, starvation, abuse both psychological, physical or verbally? Use this as you que to SPEAK UP. Don't live in fear. Be a Mia. Be an Ellie. Be a voice for yourself and others. 🖇️ The inspiration for the story was my niece , Ellie 11, who's a major fan of Mia Smoak. She spits her ideas for what she would want her interactions to be if she met Mia Smoak. My sister could not be more thrilled because this is all she hears about. Most of Mia is going through with Ellie, is inspired by what my sister deals with. She deals with not being able to move. Clingy, the whole mom struggle. She's been sneezed on. Had to throw that in there. The road trip was literally much worse than I wrote it in part 2. I was in the backseat, trying not to laugh at my exhausted sister.
