As if banning Rimuru's existence itself from the world, preventing his return. And Ciel also tell him that his timeline had already destroyed so he cannot go back after hearing that Rimuru start to feel a lot of emotion inside him sadness regret and pain all the emotions you can think of come to him at once and start to make him go insane In the end, Ciel find a way to time travel to the past but risk is to high it can destroy rimuru's Spiritual body, if anything goes wrong. This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard is missing a lot of characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats from the original light novel, meaning some arcs will get glossed over if there are little changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates because I tend to reread chapters and notice minor mistakes here and there. Also, it goes without saying that I do not own the series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.' Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.

What if Tempest was never founded? Rimuru missed his opportunity to save the lives of those who would've become some of his first and closest friends in his new slimy life, leading to him never founding his country. Many twists and turns occur as he stumbles along, mostly alone, trying to uphold the promise he made with his sworn brother, as well as carry on the will of the woman he lost early in his journey. This darker turn on the story we all know pushes our favorite slime to his limits in many ways, but will it still have a happy end? Can Rimuru survive this harsh new world without most of his friends? Will he still be the same person after enduring many hardships?

The world burned, his home lay in ruins, and the weight of failure crushed him. In the end, even victory came at too steep a price. But fate is not so kind-nor so cruel. Cast beyond time, stripped of memory yet bound by lingering echoes, Rimuru-- or is it Satoru(?) begins its journey once more. This time, will the story change? Or is destiny set in stone?
