The IllusionWings have lived in magical isolation for thousands of years, and with no record of the Scorching, it's the one place humans can be equals. But when that isolation ends and Pyrrhia, in it's ignorance, casually commits the worst atrocity they can imagine, the most peaceful place on the planet fills with the most vengeance. Pyrrhia has oppressed humanity since forever, but not every 'tribe' have arrogantly discarded the potentials of cooperation. A passionate archery genius and a young dragon may be the only ones able to unify it - and a group of dragonets happen to be the best option. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before. Eight has lived semi-contentedly for years. All she has ever wanted is to find a way she can obtain happiness while fulfilling her duties as a Worker of the AntWing Colony. So far, that plan has been going swimmingly. Which is to say horrible, because as a dragon who's never even seen the sun (let alone a body of water), Eight can't swim. When her section of Workers reaches maturity they are tasked with a new job: one Eight does not agree with. They have to sire a new generation of Workers for the Colony.
