Morgana goes all in to prevent Gwen from taking her place as queen beside Arthur on the throne of Camelot. She is prepared to do anything to win and is now more determined than ever to discover who Emrys truly is. Will Merlin be able to keep up appearences and at the same time fulfill his destiny? Will he have enough strength to defeat Morgana? And perhaps most importantly; will Arthur finally learn the truth? Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them. The guards look at me and I nod letting him know that it's ok and so they each grab an arm and pull me up. Merlin dies for a bit at the end of the series instead of Arthur.

Uther begins to fear Arthur's strength and power he holds over his knights and banishes him. Arthur must then begin to fight to become the king he is supposed to be.
