When an unknown virus spreads silently, humanity fails to react in time. Within days, men fall ill and disappear. Three weeks later, no trace remains of the male population, and civilization collapses. The story follows three main protagonists: Thiago Álvarez, a Spanish soldier returning to Mallorca unaware he is one of the last living men. His diary reveals loss, pain, and the struggle to survive in a devastated continent. Tulsi Galbard, former U.S. intelligence director, takes leadership of the new female military order after the disappearance of all male commanders. From a nuclear command plane, she organizes an international network of female military and scientific leaders to coordinate what remains of civilization. Amaia Saliba, a former scientist turned nun in Bhutan, has visions of the disaster before it happens. Convinced she must spiritually guide the survivors, she embarks on a journey to the Ganges, leaving behind teachings and prophetic signs. One year later, historian Elías Román, one of thirteen men who survived in bunkers, collects testimonies from women who managed to maintain pockets of order in places like South Korea, Israel, Switzerland, and Panama. These interviews reveal how civilization was sustained amid chaos. Just as humanity begins to adapt, a greater threat emerges: the virus was only the first phase of an alien intervention

In 2035, justice has become a spectacle, and Rebecca is the newest player in Live, the world's most infamous reality show. The rules are simple: win over the audience with your social media posts or face deadly battles in the arena, broadcast live for the world to see. Rebecca doesn't know how to navigate this brutal mix of survival and performance. Then she meets Reese, a self-made pop icon whose charisma and cunning have made him a fan favorite. At first, he offers her an alliance. But as the show pushes them to their limits, their bond shifts into dangerous territory, caught between attraction, strategy, and betrayal. Now they face something neither expected: genuine, raw emotion, exposed before an audience hungry for degradation. In Live, where love is just another weapon, their connection might save them or break them beyond repair. --- This story starts quiet. It doesn't stay that way. The more you read, the more violent, twisted, and unhinged it becomes. If you're under 18 or looking for comfort, don't read this. --- What to Expect: • A character-driven psychological thriller • Slow-burn, emotionally intense romance • Morally gray leads and manipulation games • Surveillance, control, and emotional warfare • Less action mechanics, more internal conflict and power shifts A story about performance, punishment, and the dangerous desire to be seen.

Fairy tales have always haunted me-not the softened versions whispered to children before bed, but the older ones, the darker ones, the ones where forests had teeth and promises carried weight. There was something ancient in those stories, something wild and unkind, that lingered long after the page turned. They Sleep Beneath the Green was born from that space-where wonder and terror are one and the same. This story is, in many ways, my tribute to the fairy tales that shaped my imagination, but with a blade hidden beneath the beauty. I wanted to create a world that felt mythic and cruel, where magic does not rescue you-it remembers what you owe. A deep influence on this work is Vampire Hunter D by Hideyuki Kikuchi. His blend of gothic science fiction, melancholy heroes, and cursed landscapes gave me permission to mix genres, to build something that could be both sweeping and intimate, beautiful and bleak. This story is my own strange offering, stitched together with reverence, shadows, and a little blood. I hope it unsettles you in the best way. J. W. Simms

A cerebral, morally complex book, with (hopefully) realistic characters that try their best in the world granted to them. Incorporating light engineering concepts, heavy thinking, and strategy into combat and day-to-day interactions, this is a book I couldn't find on the shelves, so I'm trying to make it. As we move along, we follow the retired Lieutenant Colonel Cohen, a deep-thinking and surprisingly rambunctious engineer called back onto the field for a new chance. Given a new team, a spacecraft, and an outdated exoskeleton, Cohen's been given a new role in life - that of a state-sanctioned bounty hunter with little ties to any superiors, a valued expendable. And many problems await. The story is still in development, but feel free to read it as I work! It's relatively clean, with some cursing. However, there will be blood, violence, and gore, so watch out for that. I should be updating this weekly, probably during the weekends, but if I don't, feel free to annoy me in the comment section until I upload.

After the Second Civil War shattered America, the undead came to finish the job- or so it seemed. Just as hope faded, a vaccine turned the tide, giving humanity a chance to rebuild. But in the forgotten ruins of the past, for some, the nightmare never ended. For five years, Bob Kelley has lived alone in an abandoned evacuation shelter, haunted by the screams of those he couldn't save. Outside, civilization is slowly clawing its way back-but something far worse than the undead now stalks the streets. A fanatical cult known as The Ascended believes the zombie plague was a divine gift-a sacred cleansing-and they're determined to finish what war and virus could not. Armed with his father's shotgun, hard-earned militia training, and a past that won't let him go, Bob emerges from the darkness to face a new kind of enemy. Joined by a ragtag team of survivors and soldiers, he sets out to stop the cult before their madness consumes what's left of the world. But salvation won't come easy. Every step deeper into the ruined metro reveals a dark conspiracy, an army of the risen dead, and a final reckoning-with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance.

Author's Note: This turned out to be a slow burner-wasn't the plan, but there We are. Its sci-fi with a touch of mystery, dry humor, and a heavy dose of dialogue. Story and character come first. There's some sexuality, some violence, and a lot of character building (we can all improve, right?) If you're into immersive scenes, flawed people, and glitchy emotional beats, welcome aboard. A small town detective is looking into a rash of missing residents, a tip off seems to give nothing but empty promises and more questions, an odd girl and a mysterious red wolf that he meets seems to really flip things over. This is a scif-fi mystery with a pinch of comedy and some lude parts as well as action.
