Pan Son was going to be Trunks Brief undoing. At least, that's what he originally thought. The girl was selfish, rude, and trouble always followed her. As time passes in their quest for for the Black Star Dragon Balls Trunks realizes that there's more to Pan than he originally thought, and a friendship starts to form between the two of them. With the group getting along and making great timing finding the Dragon Balls, the GT gang is confident that they'll make it back to earth in time. However, a visit to an unknown planet has deadly consequences that shatters their world. Trunks realizes then that Pan wouldn't be his undoing - she was the only thing keeping him together.

Pan has spent her life feeling a quiet, constant connection to Trunks, hoping he might one day recognize it, but he refuses to acknowledge it.
