But a crack of light slipped through the door. She perked up, forcing the huge smile on her face again. Once she adjusted her eyes to the light, she could see a tall, red-haired, skinny, somewhat hot man. He was wearing a jet-black tuxedo, his red hair slicked back perfectly, his shoes shined and barely creased. Or.. Mandy attempts to find someone to hire. You know who comes around.

She checked her fever this morning. 41 Celsius (also known as 106 Fahrenheit for you Americans). Same as yesterday, she told herself. She could barely speak, her throat burning with every word she muttered. It hurt even more when she coughed, reawakening that sensitive pain. She had to keep tissues next to her bed, as her nose constantly dripped with mucus. It's like she could barely breathe sometimes. Her body ached all over. She felt like a stone sometimes, as she barely wanted to leave her bed. And why would she, anyway? She was sick. She knew it was certain. There was no denying it, unfortunately. All she could do was sleep, and nothing else. Or.. Mandy gets sick with the flu and somebody comes to cheer her up. I noticed a lack of sickfics in the brawl stars community so I have stepped up to provide one.

Mandy made sure to close her windows today, and she even bought a radio and some flashlights for what was going to happen. The news station said that today, there would be a bad storm, which was expected to have lots of rain, lots of lightning, and winds capable of blowing branches off of trees. So all Mandy could do was hunker down for the day, and the best part of it all was that she was alone. No kids begging her for free candy, no stalkers watching her from her windows, and best of all, no jesters playing pranks. So when Mandy heard a knock at the door, five minutes after the storm was beginning to brew, she hoped it was just some uber driver that got sent to the wrong location. She opened the door, making sure she looked at least presentable, a small smile on her face and her hair pulled into a bun. She was greeted with another smile, one she despised, and downright wished it would be wiped off the face of the earth. "Hi Manders..!" Or... Mandy is stuck inside her house during an awful storm. And she's alone too, that is, until a certain goofy man is at her door.

So, this story is the continuing of the first book. It will take part exactly where it left off. Little summery, this story is a one shot of the ship Mandy x Chester. There will also be a lot of other ships as well. ENJOYYYYY!
