"Who are you?" I spoke in the dark as my eyes caught another movement behind the curtain, on the sill, my usual reading spot. "How can you not recognize me, Krisha? I'm offended." I halted, my hands which held the stick froze mid-way and I lowered it. Narrowing my gaze where I got the response after calling out more than five times, I reached back to switch on the light. "Don't" The voice stopped me. And before I could scram out of the room, the curtains flew aside and a shadow came to my view. Scratch that, a body rose, almost double my height as he got down the sill and stood at a distance. I blinked a few times to adjust to the daylight and focus on his face. I froze as I took in his appearance. 𝘕𝘰. 𝘕𝘰. 𝘕𝘰. 𝘕𝘰. I just- He laughed. No. 𝘏𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥. He tilted his head, his gaze unwaveringly staring down my figure before locking into my eyes. My breath hitched when he came near me but still wasn't invading my space. "What's it? Didn't you want me coming to life? Isn't that what you dreamt of, talked of and thought of? I am here."
