"I'm nobodies woman." Omotekoro said, baiting him to say otherwise. "Of course you are." Babafemi drawled, lips pulling into a full sensual smile, like a cat staring at a bowl full of creamy delicious milk. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her in, stating matter of factly with his deep bedroom voice, "You're my woman. And I'm your man. We belong to each other." Omotekoro shivered as his lips found hers. _______________________________________ After years of dating men who fall at extreme ends of the spectrum of either too boring or too spicy, Omotekoro has given up on her hopes of meeting the perfect bad boy who'll be good for her. At least that was until she sets her eyes on Babafemi Charles Makanjuola. The thing is, he's a vampire and she's a Nigerian. It can only end in premium tears... or will it? You gotta read the book to find out.

"Good morning, Mr. Ayan," she greeted. "Morning. Is this the appropriate time to arrive at work?" I inquired. "Sorry, duty calls. What would you like for breakfast? I heard you came in early today," she beamed. "Just leave," I half-yelled. "Suit yourself," she said, turning to leave. "If you come in late again, it will be your last day at work," I fumed. "I will gladly do that," she retorted "And who the hell do you think you are to talk to me like that?" I yelled at her. "And who the hell do you think you are to yell at me?" she retorted. "Just get out of my sight before you irritate me." "You are the one who is irritating, not me," she said, turning to leave, but Nasim was coming in, so he stood by the door. "What is going on here?" he asked. "Excuse me," she half-yelled. "No, I won't," he said. "Get out," I yelled. She screamed and picked up a cup from the center table, throwing it at the wall. "You didn't just do that," I yelled in disbelief. "Watch me do it again," she challenged. She picked up two cups this time and hurled them at the wall. Frustrated, I swept everything off my table in a fit of anger.
