summer of 85 ... Samantha Harrington was living her usual misfit life in New York City. She was always sneaking out and causing trouble, until one day her mother decided it would be put to a stop. At the end of her last year of middle school her mother shipped her off to a small town in Indiana, Hawkins. Now that she is living with her father and older brother, Steve, Sam thinks her life will go back to normal. That's until strange things start happening in Hawkins. Now she's working with her brother and his strange group of friends and a potential crush to hunt down monsters.
